Adam Gunn is a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Panthers. In 2009, Gunn was selected First Team All-BIG EAST Conference for the college football season as voted on by the BIG EAST head coaches. Gunn's first-team selection caps a remarkable year for the senior, who returned to action in 2009 after missing nearly all of 2008 with a serious neck injury. Many thought he would never play again, nevertheless come back stronger and more dominant than before and have his best season yet. As the Panthers' starting middle linebacker, he compiled 70 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. The hard working linebacker is currently training to make the transition from the blue and gold uniform to becoming a leader for an NFL team.

In a wild game that featured many big plays, the Bearcats outlasted the Panthers 45-44. The cleats show great use and have been signed by Gunn who has added “Worn in Big East Championship 09”.
