Players A-Z
Brian Jackson is a cornerback who currently plays for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2010. Jackson played in college under Bob Stoops at the University of Oklahoma. He started 26 of 45 games played during his time there. His awesome career stats in college were: 137 tackles, 7 interceptions, 18 passes defensed, four fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles.

In 2009, Jackson was named All-Big 12 first team by ESPN.com, Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Kansas City Star and Oklahoman and second team by AP and coaches. He had an awesome year, starting all 12 games as OU's boundary cornerback and led the team with four interceptions and eight passes broken up. Jackson also became the second player in OU history to record interceptions in four straight games and scored his first career TD with a 52-yard fumble return vs. Texas A&M. The fumble recovery was the fourth of his career, the fourth-best career total by a Sooner DB. He also had career-high nine tackles against Tulsa and forced a fumble and broke up a career-high three passes against Oklahoma State.

After the 2010 NFL Draft, Jackson was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets. If you watched HBO's "Hard Knocks" you probably remember seeing Brian Jackson as he was the star of episode three. When Darrelle Revis came back, the talented cornerback lost his roster spot and the New York Giants ended up snatching him right up. He had a successful rookie season with the Giants playing in 12 games and adding 9 tackles.
