Chris Gamble was an integral part of the Ohio State 2002 National Championship team, which went 14-0. Gamble played all 3 ways at Ohio State, earning 1st Team All-Big Ten honors, and 3rd Team All-America honors for cornerback. Gamble had 4 interceptions for the 2002 season, one of which he returned for a touchdown. Gamble was known for his game-breaking ability in all facets of the game, including defense, offense, and kick returning.
In 38 career games, Gamble started 18 times on defense and 12 times on offense (started on both offense and defense in five contests in 2002). Recorded 65 tackles (51 solos) with three stops behind the line of scrimmage, seven interceptions and 21 pass deflections. Also caught 40 passes for 609 yards (15.2 avg.), rushed six times for 68 yards (11.3 avg.) with a touchdown, returned 60 punts for 467 yards (7.8 avg.) and had 18 kickoff returns for 384 yards (21.3 avg.)
After starring at Ohio State, Gamble was selected in the 1st round in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. In 2004, he became the first rookie defensive player in Carolina Panthers history to start all 16 games, and earned Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie honors after establishing a Panthers rookie record with six interceptions, placing him third in the NFL in interceptions. In 2005, Gamble led the Panthers once again with 7 interceptions, which placed him fourth in the NFL in picks. Gamble is the defensive leader of the Panthers.

Featured is an outstanding red mesh jersey worn by Gamble when he was a pivotal part of the Ohio State Buckeyes success. The front of the jersey has an Ohio State patch at base of v-neck and there is a Nike logo on upper right chest. Gamble's #7 is sewn on front and back with nameplate on back. Left side sleeves have been cut for custom fit while right side remains untouched. The jersey shows good use with several repairs on back. This jersey was part of Stanley McClover’s personal collection. Awesome jersey!

Featured is an outstanding Carolina Panthers jersey worn by Gamble in 2004, his rookie season. The jersey is black and panther blue with silver and white. The Panthers logo, which consists of the head of a black snarling panther, is present on both sleeves. It is shaped to resemble the combined borders of North and South Carolina. The NFL Equipment patch is at the base of the collar and the year and size tag (04-42) is stitched inside collar. The jersey has a Reebok NFL Equipment tag on the left front tail with Size 42 and 4” L.B” hangtags. The jersey been signed by Gamble on the back #2 in black sharpie. This jersey was obtained through one of Gamble’s Panthers teammates. Awesome!
