DaJuane Collins is a college football running back for the Toledo Rockets. He was selected to the ALL-MAC Third Team and led the Rockets in rushing with 991 yards and 14 Touchdowns. Those numbers are outstanding considering the Rockets were more prone to the air than the ground so Collins made the most of every opportunity –his effort netted him nearly 6.0 yards per carry. He also added 116 yards receiving on 17 receptions.
Collins greatest strengths are his toughness, vision, elusiveness and ability to break off long runs if he has the space. He is also effective at handling short-yardage and goal-line duties and his style of play has often been compared to NFL running back Ray Rice. This guy is definitely a gamer and has a bright NFL future ahead of him!
