Jack Corcoran signed a free agent deal with the Houston Texans on April 24th, 2010. Corcoran is a 6-1, 230 pound bruiser who was an important (albeit unheralded) player for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights for four years. During that span, Corcoran was on the field in short yardage and goal line situations and a big part of Rutgers success in making it to 4 Bowl Games. The hard-nosed Rutgers fullback doesn’t have flashy numbers but was all about protecting the quarterback and blocking for the Scarlet Knights running game.

During his four years, Rutgers had some great rushers that he paved the way for, most notably Ray Rice in 2007 who rushed for over 2,000 yards. He had the biggest game of his career in the 2008 PapaJohns Bowl against North Carolina State when he caught 6 passes for 62 yards. (Big Dawg Possessions is proud to offer the actual jersey he wore in this career game- Please click on this link) Corcoran will make a great addition to the Texans!
