Michael Palmer is a tight end for the Atlanta Falcons. He played his college ball for the Clemson Tigers and had 43 receptions for 507 yards to lead all ACC tight ends in 2009. He also added 4 Touchdowns and was second only to Jacoby Ford in each of those statistical categories. His selection as a first team All-ACC pick, marked the first time in 24 years that a Clemson TE has been chosen since Jim Riggs in1986. Palmer was also an Academic award winner as well.
Palmer was a smart, reliable and durable contributor to the Tigers in his 3 years as a starter on offense. He’s a sure-handed receiver who can make the tough catch and blocks really well, especially in-line. He also has great strength, which allows him to turn the ends and shut them out of the play.
