Nick Bellore is a linebacker with the New York Jets. He played his college ball at Central Michigan University where he had a great career.
Bellore started 52 games in his career, which is tied for the most in school history. He ranks third in CMU history with 472 total tackles including an outstanding 24 career 10-tackle games. Bellore had three consecutive 100-tackle seasons and was just the sixth player in CMU history to earn All-MAC first team honors in three different seasons. For his stellar 2010 season, he was selected to play in 2011 East-West Shrine Game and was named to the All-MAC first team defense . He also earned the Ring of Honor team award and was elected as a co-captain by his teammates. He was named MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week for performance against Hampton (9/2) which included 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss. For the 2010 season, he added four more 10-plus tackle games. (Northwestern, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan and Toledo) In the Northern Illinois game, he dominated posting a season-high 14 tackles in loss.
Bellore is a smart player that has great instincts and is rarely fooled by play action or misdirection. He possesses the closing burst to make plays in the backfield and has been a force so far for the Jets in preseason. His work ethic, leadership and relentless motor should make him a great addition to the New York Jet's dominant defense.

The 2010 GMAC Bowl, the eleventh edition of the college football bowl game, was played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on January 6, 2010. The game was telecast on ESPN and matched the Central Michigan Chippewas, champions of the Mid-American Conference, against the Troy Trojans, champions of the Sun Belt Conference. The Chippewas were 11-2 and ranked in the Top 25. Central Michigan won in double overtime, 44-41, on a 37-yard field goal by Andrew Aguila, his fifth of the game. Bellore was a beast for the Chippewas with 14 tackles. It was the 1st time the two teams had ever faced eachother.

Bellore playing a solid game for the West contributing with 6 tackles but the East team won 25-8.
