Rennie Curran is an NFL Linebacker for the Tennessee Titans. He played college football at the University of Georgia where was considered one of the top weakside linebackers of the 2010 NFL Draft class, and has been called "the most dominant defensive player in the game" by The Sporting News.

Curran announced that he was foregoing his final year of eligibility to enter the 2010 NFL Draft and was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the ninety-seven pick.

Curran has compiled outstanding statistics during his three seasons with the Bulldogs. Ever since taking over the weak-side outside linebacker position, he consistently ranked among the team leaders in tackles each game. In his last 26 games with the Bulldogs, he reached double-digit tackle totals 11 times.

Curran became the full-time starter at weak-side linebacker in 2008. He rewarded Georgia’s coaching staff for having faith in him by leading the team and ranking second in the Southeastern Conference with 115 tackles (63 solos). Ten of those stops came behind the line of scrimmage, including three sacks. The dominant linebacker also caused two fumbles that set up Georgia touchdown drives.
His 115 tackles were the most by a Bulldog since 1998. The Dick Butkus Award finalist was named one of The Sporting News' 20 most indispensable college football players and labeled "the most dominant defensive player in the game." He was a consensus All-SEC choice and received All-American recognition.

In 2009, Curran was named Georgia Bulldogs team co-captain. The Lombardi Award finalist led the team, ranked second in the conference and placed 18th nationally with a career-high 130 tackles (66 solos) as a senior. He made at least 10 tackles in six contests and had five stops behind the line of scrimmage, becoming the tenth Bulldog to lead the team in tackles more than once in a career. The future is bright for the high effort Tennessee Titans linebacker.
