Ryan Palmer was the top-returning member of the Texas Longhorns secondary going into 2008, and he proved to be a productive leader for the Longhorns. Much was expected of the hard-hitting cornerback after he emerged as a junior to post 80 tackles, 14 pass breakups and three forced fumbles. He had a career best 10 total tackles in his first career start at Arkansas State. His 14 passes broken up led Texas and were tied for third in the Big 12. Opponents elected not to challenge him as often in 2008. Big 12 coaches recognized Palmer with second-team All-Big 12 honors with his 32 tackles, three sacks, three interceptions and eight pass breakups. These stats were despite nagging injuries that he played through most of the season. For his efforts, Palmer was invited to the 2009 East-West Shrine Game. Palmer's confidence and toughness makes him a strong NFL nickel back candidate worthy of consideration.

The jersey has been washed and is unsigned.
