Stuart Fairchild is an outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians and represented Team Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) in the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC). On Friday, March 6th 2006 Fairchild hit a pivotal grand slam in the second inning against the Czech Republic, leading Taiwan to a 6-0 lead in their third group-stage game. Fairchild also delivered a go-ahead two-run home run in the 8th inning to help defeat South Korea. In addition to his power, he showcased speed, including three stolen bases in a single game, contributing to a team-record performance.
