Korey Lindsey

Korey Lindsey is a cornerback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was drafted 207th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Southern Illinois University. He has also been a member of the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Redskins. Playing in every game his freshman year, Lindsey notched 17 tackles on defense in 14 games. During his second year at Southern Illinois, he recorded six interceptions in one game, ranking fifth most in school history. In his final year in Southern Illinois Lindsey obtained the Associated Press’s First Team All-America, becoming just the third Saluki in program history to garner First Team All-America accolades in back-to-back seasons. Lindsey was also named Team captain and was a Buck Buchanan Award finalist. He had 41 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, one interception and tied for third in the MVFC with seven pass breakups.
