Baseball Hall of Famer Billy Williams was one of the most consistent and respected hitters of his era. Known for his sweet-swinging left-handed swing, the Chicago Cubs legend played 18 seasons, racking up 2,711 hits, 426 home runs, and a .290 career batting average. Williams was the definition of durability, once holding the National League record for consecutive games played with 1,117. He reliably hit 20+ home runs in 13 consecutive seasons and drove in 1,475 runs over his career. In honor of his consistent excellence and loyalty to the franchise, the Cubs retired his uniform No. 26 and erected a statue outside of Wrigley Field.

Andre Dawson, nicknamed “the Hawk” and “Awesome Dawson”, is a former professional baseball outfielder who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for four different teams as a center and right fielder, spending most of his career with the Montreal Expos and Chicago Cubs.

An 8-time National League (NL) All-Star, he was named the league’s Rookie of the Year in 1977 after batting .282 with 19 home runs and 65 runs batted in (RBI), and won the Most Valuable Player Award in 1987 after leading the league with 49 homers and 137 RBI; he had been runner-up for the award in both 1981 and 1983. He batted .300 five times, drove in 100 runs four times and had 13 seasons of 20 home runs. A strong base-runner early in his career, he also stole 30 bases three times. He is one of eight MLB players with at least 300 home runs and 300 stolen bases during his career.
