Description
Jorrick Calvin is a cornerback who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Troy. Calvin has also been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans VooDoo, Chicago Rush, and Los Angeles Kiss.
Calvin finished the 2008 season with the Trojans first in the Sun Belt, in kick returns, averaging 25.7 yards per return, or 2.5 yards more per return than McKelvin had as a senior to earn All-America honors. Earned Troy defensive player of the week honors twice – against FAU and North Texas – and Special Teams player of the week four times – vs. North Texas, ULM, LSU and ULL. Calvin became the first Trojan to ever capture Sun Belt Defensive and Special Teams player of the week the same week when he received both awards for his effort against North Texas, which included 11 tackles, two for loss. Had a season-high 12 tackles and had five kickoff returns for 116 yards against his hometown LSU.
