Description
Josh Mauro is a former NFL defensive end most recently playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. He has also been a member of the Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders and New York Giants. Mauro played his college football for Stanford University where he was a defensive force for the Cardinal.
The featured black and silver Nike Cleats were game worn by Josh Mauro when the Stanford Cardinal faced the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2013 Rose Bowl. Stanford running back Stepfan Taylor rushed for 89 yards and an early touchdown, while Hogan passed for 123 yards, but Stanford (12-2) won the 99th Rose Bowl with a shutdown effort by its defense. Although Stanford didn’t score many style points against the Badgers, the Cardinal could celebrate because they didn’t let Wisconsin score any points at all after halftime, holding the Badgers to 82 yards for the 20-14 victory. Stanford head coach David Shaw became the first African‐American head coach to win a Rose Bowl, as well as a BCS game. Mauro was one of the defensive stars for Stanford with 6 tackles including a TFL (tackle for loss). The defensive end has signed the Cleats and added “Worn in Rosebowl Stanford 20 Wisconsin 14” to the right cleat in silver. The Cleats were taped up and obtained directly from Josh Mauro!!!!
