Description
Logan Davidson is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Los Angeles Angels organization. He played college baseball at Clemson University before the Athletics selected him in the first round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.
On May 23rd, 2025, Davidson was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time. In nine appearances for the Athletics, he went 3-for-20 (.150) with two RBI and three walks. Davidson was designated for assignment following the promotion of Ben Bowden on July 23.
On September 3rd, 2025 the Los Angeles Angels claimed Davidson off waivers from the Houston Astros. On September 12th, 2025 Davidson went 2-4 for the Los Angeles Angels with his 1st Major League Home Run. On Sunday, September 14th, 2025 Davidson pitched a scoreless eighth inning against the Seattle Mariners.
