Ted Bolser is a free agent tight end, most recently playing for the Arizona Cardinals. Bolser was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 7th Round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Bolser played his college football at Indiana where he is the all-time tight ends leader. Bolser has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bolser is Indiana’s all-time tight ends leader with 117 receptions, 1,337 yards and 15 touchdowns. He became the 20th Hoosier to reach 100 catches and 1,000 yards and finished tied for eighth in TDs, 15th in receptions and 23rd in yardage on IU’s career lists. Bolser played in 48 games and started 37 times.

Bolser appeared in all 12 games with seven starts as a freshman in 2010, catching 27 passes for 407 yards with five touchdowns. The following season, the talented tight end caught 14 passes for 165 yards with one touchdown, starting six times and appearing in all 12 games. Bolser was elected team captain in 2012 as a junior and started all 12 games and finished fourth on the team with 41 receptions, 445 yards and three touchdowns.

As a senior in 2013, Ted Bolser served as a team captain and notched 35 receptions (fifth-most by an IU tight end all-time) for 320 yards with six touchdowns. Earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors in all four seasons. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in public affairs management in December 2013.

For a guy his size (6 foot 6, 260 pounds), Bolser is very athletic. At his pro day, Bolser ran a 4.75 40-yard dash which would have been the sixth best among tight ends at the NFL Scouting Combine. He had a 31-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-3 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.50 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.11 seconds. He performed 19 strength lifts.
