Tony Jerod-Eddie is a free agent NFL defensive lineman most recently playing with the San Francisco 49ers. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football at Texas A&M.

Jerod-Eddie attended DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas. He was a two-time first-team all-district defensive lineman and was selected for the Honorable Mention 5A All-State honors. He was high school teammates with his best friend NFL Pro Bowler Von Miller.

Jerod- Eddie had a great college career with the Texas A & M Aggies with his best season coming in 2011 when he played in 13 games and collected 56 tackles, 5 sacks, 5 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble and 7 tackles for a loss. For his outstanding effort, he was invited to participate in the Senior Bowl. In his junior season, Jerod-Eddie had 49 tackles with 2.5 tackles for a loss and 2 pass deflections and was an honorable mention All-Big 12. For his career, he totaled 147 tackles, 7 sacks and 14.5 tackles for a loss.

On May 4th, 2012, Jerod-Eddie signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent. On August 31st, 2012, he was released. On September 1st, 2012, he was signed to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. On December 28th, 2012, he was promoted to the active roster after the team placed wide receiver Mario Manningham on injured reserve.

On October 6th, 2013, during a game against the Houston Texans, Jerod-Eddie came into the game in relief of 49ers starter Ray McDonald and recorded his first career interception off quarterback Matt Schaub. On November 10th, 2015 Jerod-Eddie was personally responsible for two of Matt Ryan’s 15 incomplete passes in the 49ers win over the Atlanta Falcons. The nose tackle battled down a pair of Ryan third-down attempts, forcing punts both times. From 2012 to 2016, Jerod-Eddie played in 57 NFL games with the 49ers and recorded 66 tackles and an interception.

The annual Pasta Bowl IX presented by SAP took place at Levi’s Stadium to kick-off the 2015 49ers season. San Francisco 49ers players, coaches and alumni paired with Silicon Valley executives to serve as celebrity waiters to benefit the 49ers Foundation in partnership with the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. The sold-out gathering was an Italian-style charity dinner that raised funds for the 49ers Foundation. Now in its 26th year, the 49ers Foundation supports development programs for underserved youth that keep them “Safe, On Track, and In School.” Jerod-Eddie has signed the shirt and added “Practice Worn” in black. The shirt shows wear.
