A true fan favorite for the Boston Red Sox, Gasper is highly valued for his defensive adaptability—skillfully moving between catcher, first base, and second base—and his rare ability as a high-contact switch-hitter. He captured the baseball world’s attention with a historic offensive tear. During his unbelievable run, he posted an extraordinary 1.671 OPS, cementing his name alongside legendary icons like Ted Williams and Barry Bonds for one of the highest single-month OPS marks in baseball history.
