Description

Tevis Bartlett is a linebacker prospect for the 2019 NFL Draft. The Wyoming native played college football for the Washington Huskies. Bartlett was a star quarterback and wrestler at Cheyenne East High School, leading the T-birds to a state title on the football field in 2013 and winning four state titles on the mat. He was named the top scholar-athlete in the state of Wyoming by the National Football Foundation in 2014. He finished his high school career with a 4.0 grade point average, which topped his class.

Bartlett — an Education, Communities and Organizations major — plans to get certified in teaching so he can teach and coach after his football career ends. He also wants to get his master’s in administration so he could eventually work as an athletic director or principal. Currently, he is completing a student internship at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle. He also helps coach junior varsity wrestling in the area. Bartlett was a four-time state champion in wrestling but decided to play football in college.

After choosing the University of Washington over Wyoming and several other schools, he moved to linebacker and quickly became a force for the Huskies defense. Bartlett started 23 games as a junior and senior and was named to All-Pac 12 Conference Team in 2017 and the All-Academic Pac-12 Conference Team three times.

As a starting outside linebacker for the Huskies in 2017, Bartlett had 48 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions and a team-high 12 tackles for loss. In spring 2018, the coaching staff moved him to weakside linebacker, replacing the graduated Keishawn Bierria – now entering his second season with the Denver Broncos – and Bartlett played alongside returning middle linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven in an all-senior inside combination. Bartlett finished the 2018 season with 72 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 2 forced fumbles.

The featured gray, white and purple Washington Huskies Football nike drifit xl shirt was worn by Tevis Bartlett in training as a member of the Huskies. The talented linebacker has signed the shirt and added his “#17” and “Go Dawgs!” in black. There is a Washington Huskies player issued “17” on the back of the shirt. Awesome shirt straight off the back of the future NFL Draft Pick!
